Touch It Not

Out of nowhere he comes and opens a book that is already shut close some time ago. He flips through the pages as the characters with dying emotions, unanswered questions, and weary souls wake up from deep slumber. He happily reads as everything starts to unfold once again, but then, when the characters start to move in full action, he gets scared and decides to leave, not even bothering to close the book that no one asked him to disturb.
